SharkBite 1/2"x1/2" Sweat Adapter, a lead-free solution for transitioning from copper pipes to PEX tubing. This versatile adapter allows for connections using either stainless steel clamp systems or copper crimp ring systems on one side, and a male sweat connection for soldering on the other. It meets ASTM F-876, ASTM F-877 to SDR-9 dimensional standards, NSF 14 & 61 for use in potable water systems, CSA B137.5 standards, and NSF CL-R certification for use in hot water systems. The wetted surface of this product contains less than 1/4 of 1 percent, 0.25%, of lead by weight, meeting AB1953 California & VT S152 Vermont low lead restrictions.
